Ardour is a digital audio workstation similar in function to many
well-known proprietary systems. This talk will survey Ardour's history,
its features, the existing community of developers and users, and
discuss future directions, including upcoming MIDI sequencing support
and recent additions. I will also try to demonstrate the ways in which
Ardour integrates with other tools, such as drum machines, synthesizers,
and networks.
